Drama Center Auditions for Children
The Drama Center is seeking young actors, ages 7-16 to audition for The Uuuugly Duckling in the Stephen D. Hyers Theatre. The theatre is located on the first floor of the Greeensboro Cultural Center, 200 North Davie Street.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and improvisation. No preparation is necessary. Show dates are October 12-14 and will be held in the Odell Auditorium, Greensboro College.
This play was inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen tale. Mama Duck is puzzled by the size of one of her eggs and the barnyard concludes the eggs were mixed up. Children will thoroughly enjoy acting in this play about love and acceptance and in roles that will delight everyone.
